Business Development Executive
Job Summary
As the Business Development Executive at A2B Tax Ltd, you will be a key driver of growth, responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new clients and expand the firm’s market presence. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will play a critical role in identifying business opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to acquire new clients for the firm.
- Identify target industries, markets, and prospects for business expansion.
- Lead Generation:
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, events, online platforms, and targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with marketing to create and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Conduct client needs assessments and provide tailored solutions.
- Proposal Development:
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations in response to client inquiries.
- Work closely with service teams to develop customized solutions.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for service expansion.
- Networking and Events:
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the firm and establish relationships.
- Represent the firm in a professional and positive manner.
- Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Collaborate with service teams to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
- Maximize revenue from existing client relationships.
- Budget and Forecasting:
- Contribute to the development of the business development budget.
- Forecast and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.
- CRM Utilization:
- Effectively use the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage client relationships, track interactions, and analyse data for decision-making.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with service teams, marketing, and other internal departments to ensure alignment with business development goals.
- Provide input into service offerings based on client feedback and market demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development within the professional services or accounting industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the accounting and financial services landscape in the UK.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets.
